Expository Preaching / Teaching Class led by Pastor Rob Armstrong

This class is designed to provide a basic introduction to the call, task, and nature of preaching for the members of Harrisburg Baptist Church. Participants will learn to develop and deliver an expository sermon or lesson for the benefit and equipping of the church. The class will consist of reading, lectures, discussions, and the practice of preaching and/or teaching. Expository Preaching by David Helm and The Priority of Preaching by Christopher Ashe will be used. Cost for both books is $15.00. 

How to Study / Interpret the Bible with Dr. David Parks

Ever been frustrated when you try to study the Bible? This study can help. The goal of the study is to help acquaint believers with some basic, simple; common sense rules and principles of interpretation and to present some Bible study tools that will aid in the study of God’s Word. Bring your Bible and join us Sunday evenings September 8th - 29th in the Sanctuary.

Coffee With Mom: Caring For a Parent With Dementia led by David Smith

This is an eight-week support group that realizes we do not have all the answers. Join others in the laughter and tears of not knowing what to do next. Together we will find the courage to do the best we can.  Meets in Room 513.

Who Is Jesus? led by Mike Orender

This study examines the pages of Scripture to consider the truth of Christ’s claims about himself. This book is a great tool for introducing people to the most amazing person who ever lived. The cost of the book is $10.00. 

Raising Kids for True Greatness led by Shelley Farmer

Unfolded: The Story of God led by Steven Hall
