This year the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board combined forces to create Send Relief. This is a global ministry for Southern Baptists to address the needs of people after disasters.

Lottie Moon Missions Offering

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. The offering was officially named in 1918 by Woman’s Missionary Union in honor of the missionary to China who urged churches to start it and give sacrificially.

UTURN / Malawi Mission Organization

We believe that God has given us a mission to proclaim the gospel, plant churches, prepare church and community leaders and provide benevolent help that enables indigenous peoples to become independent and self-sufficient.

Eric Perkins, former HBC staff member helps lead this ministry. There are multiple ways to give to this ministry of UTURN.

    Psalm 139 Project | ERLC Ultrasound Fund

    The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention is dedicated to protecting life in all stages of development, especially those in the womb. The Psalm 139 Project is an initiative designed to make people aware of the life-saving potential of ultrasound technology in crisis pregnancy situations and to help pregnancy centers minister to abortion vulnerable women by providing ultrasound equipment for them to use. This project provides a way for motivated individuals to assist financially in the placement of ultrasound machines in qualified pregnancy care centers.

    Eight Days of Hope

    Everyone around here knows the impact and ministry of Eight Days of Hope.  Eight Days of Hope is a Christian, nonprofit organization that exists to love and serve those in need.  Their commitment is to use the resources that God has blessed us with to bring hope and healing.

    New Thing Church | Las Vegas, NV

    New Thing Church's Pastor, Michael Horner is 3-4 years into planting a successful Southern Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV. As they reach the lost and make disciples they still have needs that we can help them meet.

    James Cheatham is planting a new MS Baptist church aimed at reaching the diverse community of Greenwood, MS.  Baptists believe churches are communities of disciples wherein every member takes personal ownership of the church’s vision, which the congregation is free to pursue under the lordship of Jesus Christ as he reveals his will through his written Word.

    Delta Streets Academy

    Delta Streets Academy equips young men by providing Christ-centered disciplined education.   We promote the highest achievement in academics, a biblical worldview, a competitive athletic environment and character development.  Many of our church members support the work and ministry of Delta Streets Academy. We  have sent two mission teams to them in Greenwood, MS, over the last 2 years.

    Parkgate's mission is to provide a safe, Christ-like environment designed to empower women and men to make life-affirming choices through education and support.

    New Beginnings Adoption Ministry

    At New Beginnings our mission is “Promoting life and new beginnings for children, birth nmothers and families through parenting education and adoption.”

    CASA | Church After School Association | Tupelo, MS

    The mission of CASA is to provide an opportunity, after school, for elementary aged school children to experience Christ’s love by providing a place of enjoyment and security, both physically and emotionally.

    Good Samaritan Free Clinic of Tupelo

    The Antone Tannehill Good Samaritan Free Clinic is a non-profit organization whose mission is to Marshall professional volunteers to provide Hugh quality medical, dental, and pharmaceutical care at no cost to the eligible working uninsured and temporarily unemployed residents of Lee County, MS.

    Tree of Life | Tupelo, MS

    Tupelo / Lee County Hunger Coalition

    The Tupelo Lee County Hunger Coalition's mission is to increase food security by collaborating with food pantries, hot meal services, and weekend backpack programs. The Tupelo/Lee County Hunger Coalition was formed in 2016 by the Tupelo/Lee County Community Foundation, a CREATE Foundation affiliate. They partnered with the United Way of Northeast Mississippi.  The Hunger Coalition works with all stakeholders who comprise the food distribution system to better understand the current situation and determine what is needed to eliminate food insecurity for all people in Lee County.

    Faith Haven | Tupelo, MS

    Faith Haven’s mission is to provide a safe, temporary emergency home in a sheltered environment for neglected, abandoned and abused children from ages birth through 18 of both sexes. Faith Haven provides a complete 24-hour around-the-clock care in a home-like setting with house parents and direct care staff. Our staff offers the necessary support to nurture and minister to the physical and emotional needs of these children. It is also our mission to make a time of crisis in their lives as easy as it can be under difficult circumstances and to make their next placement more successful.

    Transformation Garden | Verona, MS

    The mission of Transformation Garden is to minister spiritual, physical, medical, and emotional healing into the lives of adult, female survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking, thereby, restoring their sense of dignity and worth.
