how to join our faith family
You can become a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church in one of the following ways:
- Public Profession of Faith and Believer's Baptism. By making a public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ, followed by believer's baptism.
- Letter or Promise of Letter from another Baptist Church of like faith and order.
- Statement of Faith. By statement of faith if you have previously made a public decision, acknowledging that you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. It will be necessary for you to be baptized at Harrisburg if you have never been Scripturally baptized:
- into a New Testament Church.
- as a believer, by immersion after salvation.
- in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spririt.
- as a symbol of your salvation (not as a requirement or a part of your salvation).
- believing in the eternal security of the believer (that you can not lose your salvation).
