"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you.
And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -- Matthew 28:19-20
making disciples
We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to see disciples made. We want to see people step out of the darkness of their sin and despair and into the eternal life that only Jesus Christ provides. God delights to give this life to those who run to him in repentance and faith. In this way, God is glorified when we make disciples of Christ by proclaiming the gospel of Christ.
maturing disciples
We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to see disciples mature. As we grow deeper in the gospel together, we grow deeper in our faith together. As many have said before, the gospel is not the ABC's of Christianity, but instead the A to Z of Christianity. In this way, God is glorified when we mature as disciples of Christ by proclaiming the gospel of Christ.
multiplying disciples
We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to see disciples multiply. Each member of Harrisburg has been saved and sent. In essence, we are all saved to be sent. We live on mission together to see the kingdom of Christ grow in our community, state, nation, and world. In this way, God is glorified when we multiply disciples of Christ by proclaiming the gospel of Christ.
